CoVenture has made important contributions to research on adolescent development and mental health. Its findings have helped highlight the impact of screen use and social media, improve understanding of substance use risk using advanced methods such as machine learning, and clarify the effects of adolescent substance use on brain development and well-being. This work has informed early prevention strategies across Canada and contributed to broader discussions on youth mental health, including at the level of the United States Congress.
